Honoring her...

My step-Grandma Catherine died yesterday. I had a really hard time with it. She was an amazing woman. She was 94 years old! And up until a few months ago, she was playing Canasta and taking water aerobics classes twice a week. She was incredibly articulate and very smart..... read books constantly. She was just out here earlier this year for a few days. I am so glad I had the chance to see her.

Everyone is off to Michigan this weekend to honor her memory. I wish I could be there.....

So today, I will thank G-d for taking her quickly and without much pain, for allowing us to spend time together these past 15 years, and for the absolutely amazing person that she was! We will always remember her incredible spirit for life and will miss her very much.

Hey Jenn,

I'm so sorry. It is so hard to let go of those who leave us. I am still dealing with my father and brother dying earlier this year. Take care of yourself, congrats on the new job.

Love ya,

Angelique

Catherine was a great woman,
who lived life, traveled, was open to new
experiences, and was incredibly tolerent
to others. She died without pain, in her own
bed, surrounded by her three children.
We will miss her, but she will remain in
our thoughts and memories.
