My brothers and I practically lived in the dirt growing up. And apparently a good healthy sized slug won't hurt you either (my mother swears I ate one. HURL). I have friends that wipe their kids so clean their faces almost come off. Drives me crazy. Those kids have every allergy and sickness you can imagine. My kids were dirty until it was time to come in and get clean. And they are the healthiest kids I know. We need a 'More Dirt' campaign. P.S. I let my kids get all sorts of dirty, with no antibacterial anything in our house, save a bottle of peroxide and a tube of Neosporin. And they're all as healthy as anything.
