		<description>I want to extend this a little bit: Everyone always understands your language. I am living in France and work in a multi-national company, and I often see my colleagues rant about people and stuff in their language, believing that the French People do not understand them.

Well, needless to say there have been quite a few priceless situation where one of the French turned around and replied in English, German or whatever language was used. It&#039;s just too great to see the look on the face of your colleagues after they got owned hard (and deserved that public embarrassment!).</description>

Like you, I can get going on rants breathing my own exhaust but one thing I&#039;ve learned over the years is that even if the wife isn&#039;t there (no one of consequence overhears you), it can be harmful to you. Building an adversarial relationship with the boss, even in your head can eat at you and drag you down.</description>
