I’d be interested to know where you come down on the issue of inspiration vs ripping off - do you think they borrowed too heavily from this artist?

Myself, I’m a bit torn. I would have said it was an inspired take on a similar theme that builds upon the previous work in an original way if the ad agency hadn’t contacted the artists beforehand. That sounds just similar enough to the sleezy stuff Urban Outfitters does to make me uncomfortable.
