DePo Skinny Theme for WordPress

ScreenshotThe DePo Skinny theme for WordPress is a variation on my original DePo Clean theme, developed by myself and my lovely wife for her new site. We thought we’d make it available to you, too!

It’s a super-simple theme with only one 500-pixel-wide column. It accommodates categories and tags easily. Like DePo Clean, it has a row of Flickr thumbnails at the top of the homepage. Remember, to get the Flickr photos to appear, you must install and configure the FlickrRSS plugin (set it to 7 square photos). Don’t worry, it works just fine without it.

If you’d like to give it a spin on your own WordPress site, here ya go! All I ask is that you keep the “DePo Skinny” link at the bottom.

Thanks, Derek. I’m using it now as my interim design. Just what I needed. Just thought I’d point out that your “Page” template seems to be references sidebar-about and side-bar sponsor. I’m guessing those are relics from depo-clean and just removed those two lines.

Who’s coat do I have to pull to get this ported to Wordpress.com? So very clean, I love it!

Bravo, sir. I love the decorative font for the blog and section titles. Clean, clean, clean!

Lovely theme Derek. Can you share an easy way to change the colour of the header and footer as per your site?

Love this theme! I’ve spent a few days tweaking it to be just how I need it and so far it’s working a treat.

Now, how to add a floating div on the left. Just a small one though, I love the single column feel! :)
