- I won the David Siegel High Five Award for Excellence in Site Design for the week of Aug. 2 - 9 1995 for Dive Travel Express.
- I won the David Siegel High Five Award for Excellence in Site Design again for the week of July 10 - 17 1996 for Tweak.
- Porter College Service Award, 1995, for "consistent, meaningful commitment to enhancing the quality of student life at Porter College."
- After my year as Senior Editor (1993-1994), the Fish Rap was rated as the number one student newspaper by a campus housing survey.
- Silver Award in the PhotoJournalism category from the Society of Newspaper Design. 1993.
- Good Times Amateur Photography Contest, August 5, 1993. I won 2 of the 6 categories and was the only winner under 30 years old.
