When I was a producer at Electric Minds, I had a chance to redesign the Edge Tech section. While I had to stay consistent with the rest of the site, I made many improvements. I brought a sense of importance to the newest stories by featuring them more prominently, I changed the type from a circus-looking font to a more clean look, and I convinced everyone to discontinue using extremely large background gifs. Ultimately, the templates I created were used as the standard throughout the site.
