Kevin-John was my first video conferencing victim with the new iChat AV. What fun. What pure, geeky fun.
As with all things internet, it comes back to the pets. It always comes back to the pets.
Side note: Here is why I love Apple with every beat of my experience designer’s heart. I was playing a song in iTunes when I connected the video camera to do this video conference. As soon as I turned on the camera, the song paused. I didn’t even notice. When I turned off the camera, the song resumed. It’s that kind of attention to detail that makes a Mac zealot out of a normal boy.
Also worth noting: If you use a video camera for the new iChat video conferencing, you can just as easily play a tape as broadcast live. Ask Ben how he liked the Fray Day 6 performance.
