Ephemera Recognized

It’s been a great week for my photo site, Ephemera.
On Monday, Justly Married, my record of the same-sex marriages that took place in San Francisco in February 2004, received an honorable mention in the NPAA Best in Photojournalism 2005 for News Picture Story. I’m told it’s the first time a photoblog has appeared in the [...]

Update on my 2005 Resolutions

Updating the list:

Sell the car. Check. Thanks, Craigslist!
Launch JPG. Check.
Quit smoking. Check.
Kick ass at work. In process - more to come.
Remember to treasure every moment. Doing the best I can to remember.

Since it’s still the first quarter of the year and I seem to be doing well, I think I’ll add some more.

Be more [...]

SF Lit Event

Please join yours truly and a handful of other contributors to My California tomorrow, Thursday, March 3, for an evening of California storytelling at the Mechanics’ Institute in San Francisco. It’s gonna be fun! Tell the folks at the door that you’re an “author’s guest” to get in free.
