Back from Michigan. We had a really wonderful time. Still super tired. Will write all about it this weekend. TOTALLY busy at work....lots of new responsibilities.

I am back in Southern California and at work. I had a really great vacation. I was all over the place and never had a moment to relax but I got the chance to catch up with some of my favorite people. The drive in my RAV4 was very smooth. No major problems..... I made great time too. I got all the way up to San Francisco from North Hollywood in 5 1/2 hours. Not bad huh?

I really wish some of those friends would move down to Southern California. I miss them terribly.

Now, I'm back at work...... exhausted! I could really use a couple of days to sleep. But, this weekend, I have got to do laundry and start packing for Michigan. I am off to Grand Rapids on Thursday!

I am here safe and sound in San Francisco.....having a wonderful time with Derek and Heather...... and the animals. Chica, Tigger, and Spoo are the greatest. I'm totally getting the doggy bug.

I made it from LA to San Francisco in five and a half hours. That rocks! I stopped once to fill up with gas and take a stretch break but that was it. I had a cooler packed with lots of munchies (apples, carrots, grapes, and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich) and of course, diet pepsi's and water. I had lots of great cd's to listen to.... and only got semi-lost. hee hee hee

Yesterday, we took the pups up to Tank Hill. Man, is that a big uphill climb! But it was a spectacular view. Yes, it was really windy and foggy..... but it was so cool to check out the city from above. Then, we went to a really great mexican restaurant for dinner. Mmmmmmm....veggie burrito and margaritas. Last night, Derek and I battled to the death playing Soul Calliber on the Sega Dreamcast. He kicked my ass quite a few times, but as I was getting the hang of it, his ass got wooped pretty badly as well. He was "seriously injured" as the announcer said!

This morning, we are just sippin coffee, playing with the pups, watchin cartoons, and eating the homemade banana bread that I made as a housewarming gift. Plans for today? Not quite sure yet..... but later today, I will be off to Marissa's house in Alameda. I'm having such a wonderful time. *smile*
